Trojan Stadium recieved a new outfield fence and a new backstop during the fall with help from coaches, players, families, and some local donors.
“An improved field changes how our team views themselves when playing,” says senior first baseman Ayden Davis. “Both additions bring a sense of pride to the community and the team, and when you look good playing, you feel good.”
Senior Jack Boudrero, who plays pitcher/middle infield welcomes the new fence.
“I think the new fences are very beneficial,” Jack said. “We now feel like an actual baseball stadium instead of a recreational park. Competing at the 5A level requires that we have the facilities to match and now we are headed in the right direction.”
Head Coach Sam Phillips says that he has seen a positive response of the upgrades from the community and looks forward to future upgrades to Trojans Stadium.
